ゆう【有】

〔所有〕 possession; 〔存在〕 existence.

●苦節十有五年 fifteen (whole) years of hard working.

●我が有に帰する fall into my hands; come into my possession.

●無から有は生まれない. Nothing comes out of nothing.

・老子いわく天下の物は有から生じ, 有は無から生じる. According to Lao-tzu, everything under the sun arises from existence, and existence arises from nothingness.
